This February, a regional workshop was organized by the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning of Slovenia in cooperation with UNECE and with the support of Housing Europe, the Union for the Mediterranean, and UN-Habitat, focusing on housing affordability challenges in South-Eastern Europe.
Having discussed the needs and wishes of the organizers, Ink Conferences prepared and managed the fully virtual conference, including setting up a webpage for the event, providing a tailored design, and ensuring quality English-Slovenian simultaneous interpretation.
Mrs. Aša Rogelj, Deputy Director General at Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning of the Republic of Slovenia, commented: “There was immense interest in the conference, more than 150 participants applied, and 15 representatives of politics and the field were actively involved. The conference was interpreted into Slovenian, English, and Russian language, which gave it additional weight. It was all about important international collaboration, an opportunity for mutual learning, and the exchange of experiences.
With your extraordinary engagement, you’ve provided an attractive graphic design for the event, created the entire scenario for the event, tested the very important internet connections with all active participants, and added original ideas for the promotion of Ljubljana and Slovenia.”
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, international conferences that were planned to be held in Slovenia are rescheduled or cancelled. Ink Conferences is in line with the changes in the industry and providing PCO services for virtual conferences as well.
